This longstanding, historical community landmark was destroyed by Hurricane Dennis in 2005. The new building mirrors the footprint of the original structure as it sat over the water. The construction consists of precast concrete and concrete thermal mass system with steel trusses. The new design has been built to withstand 160 mph winds.
